The Bachelor in Accounting Study of Universitas Gunadarma ias established in 1996 with the SK: 92/DIKTI/Kep/1996 on April 3, 1996. This Bachelor Program began to be held in 2011 with the Operational Permit Decree Number: 8153/D/T/K-III/2011 on the date: 02 August 2011. Based on the Decree of BAN-PT No. 13444/SK/BAN-PT/AK-ISK/S/XII/2021, The National Accreditation Board for Higher Education stated that the Accounting Study Program, in the Undergraduate Program of Gunadarma University, Depok City meets the requirements for the "Excellent" Accreditation rating.
Referring to the Vision of Economics Faculty of Universitas Gunadarma, the vision of the Bachelor of Accounting program is : "In 2027, it will become a globally oriented Accounting Study Program that contributes to the development and development of sustainable human resources through governance and the tri dharma of higher education by combining accounting science and technology that is adaptive, transformative, and innovative"
Bachelor of Accounting is supported by lecturers with educational qualifications, competencies, and expertise that are in accordance with the competencies and expertise required by graduates of the FEUG S1-Accounting Study Program. Most lecturers hold Doctoral degrees (S3), and also complete the professional competency certificates. There are 25 permanent lecturers who have Chartered Accountants who contribute to realizing a different world and society: globally competitive and sustainable.

The learning outcomes of Bachelor of Accounting Study are formulated from the discussion by the Accounting Compartment of Educators of the Indonesian Accountants Association (IAI). In addition, there are also learning outcomes outside the IAI formulation, which are the uniqueness of Gunadarma University. There are 4 parts that contribute to learning outcomes, namely attitudes, knowledge mastery, general skills, and special skills.
The industrial revolution 4.0 and Society 5.0 are changing the world, which ultimately leads to the emergence of new competencies so that the way of working in the future (the future of work) also changes. In accordance with stakeholder input, there is an enrichment of study materials that provide material related to big data analysis and block chain technology in the financial sector. This is accommodated by the addition of several courses, namely Accounting in the Industrial Revolution Era 4.0, Business Audit in the Industrial Revolution Era 4.0, and Big Data-Based Audit.
The curriculum of the Bachelor of Accounting Program, Faculty of Economics, Universitas Gunadarma is compiled and developed based on the Indonesia National Qualification or KKNI (KKNI-Based Curriculum) level 6 and SN-DIKTI. This curriculum is adjusted to the profile of graduates and learning achievements, as well as following the vision, mission, goals, targets, and strategies of the institution, University and Faculty. The curriculum of Bachelor of Accounting in Universitas Gunadarma is regularly evaluated, revised, and updated to adapt to developments in science, technology, in the field of accounting and changes in the needs of the world of work or industry.
The curriculum review refers to the results of the needs analysis conducted through tracer studies of alumni, focus group discussions (FGD), collegial meetings with the Accounting Study Program Association and the Accounting Professional Association (IAI), the Audit Professional Association (IAPI), the Financial Association, especially insurance (AAMAI and AAJI). International curriculum benchmarking is performed by referring to the The International Education Standards (IESs), issued by the International Federation of Accountants (IFAC).
Formulation of Accounting Study Program Curriculum produced by the Accountant Educator Compartment of the Indonesian Institute of Accountants (IAI), related regulations in the field of higher education issued by the Government of the Republic of Indonesia. The Bachelor of Accounting Curriculum has a map of graduate learning outcomes according to competency standards and scientific visions in the field of accounting. The program has courses with learning outcomes related to research skills and the discovery of new ideas in Accounting Science.
