Achievements

Indonesia HUB is a real implementation of the MoU between Gunadarma University and Bukhara State University. Currently, Indonesia HUB has been operating in Samarkand, namely at the Samarkand State Institute of Foreign Language. Indonesia HUB in Samarkand was opened by Prof. Dr. Diah Natalisa, Coordinator of Kopertis Region II.

Slovak University of Agriculture (SUA) is a long-standing partner with Gunadarma University. Various mobility activities have been carried out, such as International Conferences, Visiting Research both from UG to SUA and vice versa. With this good cooperation, SUA and UG agreed to open Indonesia HUB in 2015, which was carried out by the Indonesian Ambassador to Slovakia.

Through cooperation with Community Service funding, Bukhara State University opened Indonesia HUB which will be used for various activities related to Indonesia. This Indonesia HUB was opened when the rector of Hasanudin University and several other rectors and lecturers from Indonesia arrived at Bukhara State University. This shows that this Indonesia HUB is not only for Gunadarma University but is indeed used for Indonesia in general

After Bukhara State University, in May 2023, the Indonesia HUB was opened at the Silk Road International University of Tourism and Cultural Heritage in Samarkand. The opening of this Indonesia Hub was carried out by the Head of the LLDIKTI Region III Institution, Dr. Ir. Paristiyanti Nurwardani. This opening was also a rebranding from the Indonesia Center/Corner to the Indonesia HUB. This rebranding is to provide a networking function not only for cultural and language issues, but also other aspects such as business and tourism.

In the same year in July 2023, another Indonesia Hub was opened on a campus that has been a long-standing partner of Gunadarma University, namely, Tashkent State University of Economics in Tashkent Uzbekistan. The opening of this Indonesia Hub was carried out by Prof. Dr. Ari Purbayanto, Chairman of the Indonesian Professors Association (API) and also Director of the Executive Board of the National Accreditation Board for Higher Education (BAN-PT).

Partners utilize Indonesia HUB with various activities including independent funding or cooperation with other parties, for example

External Involvement

The local Embassy of the Republic is always involved in the utilization of the Indonesia HUB. At the opening of the Indonesia HUB, support from the Indonesian Embassy was obtained so that the activities could run smoothly. In the activities, the Indonesian Embassy provided contributions in the form of support for teaching staff, or the provision of Indonesian food during activities.

Local government activities in activities were also obtained, for example from the Bukhara Governor's Office, which has carried out several activities and also official visits to Indonesia.

Companies and government institutions in partner countries are also involved in Indonesia HUB activities. For example, providing access for students and lecturers from Gunadarma University to conduct research.
