Program Overview

The Informatics Study Program, founded in 1989, is part of the Faculty of Industrial Technology alongside Electrical, Mechanical, and Industrial Engineering. With around 4,200 students and 309 lecturers, the program aims to bridge the gap between informatics education and the needs of the business and industrial world, especially in the era of Industry 4.0. The curriculum is developed following national and international standards, incorporating input from organizations such as IEEE, ACM, and APTIKOM. The program is accredited with an "A" by the National Accreditation Board for Higher Education (BAN-PT) and Provisionally Accredited by IABEE for excellence in Computer Science and related disciplines..

Curriculum Overview

The program consists of 156 total credits, with 144 core credits and 12 electives. The curriculum is designed to support the Industrial Revolution 4.0 and is enriched by the Merdeka Belajar (MBKM) initiative, allowing students flexibility and interdisciplinary learning opportunities. Key areas of focus include:

  • Core Knowledge: Algorithms, Programming, Mathematics, and Computer Systems.
  • Specializations: Artificial Intelligence, Big Data Computing, Software Engineering, and Image Processing.
  • Support Facilities: State-of-the-art labs, including access to supercomputers (DGX1 and DGXA100).
