Management Study Program at the Faculty of Economics

Program Overview

The Management Study Program at the Faculty of Economics, Universitas Gunadarma (FEUG), was established in 1990. In 1996, it became part of Universitas Gunadarma. With both national and international recognition, the program focuses on producing graduates who are intelligent, competitive, and have strong character through the implementation of the university’s three pillars (Tridarma Perguruan Tinggi): education, research, and community service.

Vision 2027: To become a globally renowned study program contributing to sustainable development through governance and innovation in finance, banking, marketing, and human resource management.

Graduates from the Management Study Program are equipped with skills in various fields, including:

• E-Business Management: Managing technology-based businesses involving internet transactions with business partners, suppliers, and customers.
• E-Marketing Management: Managing marketing activities using information technology, promoting and selling goods/services online.
• Fund Management: Overseeing organizational cash flow and assets efficiently with the aid of information technology.
• Investment Management: Making investment decisions by developing portfolios of stocks, bonds, and other investment instruments.
• Banking & e-Banking Management: Managing banking operations using information technology.
• Retail Business Management: Managing retail businesses through market research, merchandising, and sales strategies.
• Human Resources Expertise: Managing human resources with a focus on improving performance and efficiency using technology.
• Entrepreneurship: Designing and managing independent businesses while being responsive to changes in the business environment.

Curriculum Overview

This is a 4-year program (8 semesters) with a curriculum focused on:

• Economics, Mathematics, and Statistics
• General Management, Finance, Banking, and Investment
• Entrepreneurship
• Management Information Systems, Big Data, and Digital Society

Additional Features: The program offers licensed competency certifications, access to supercomputer infrastructure, and management information systems (MIS) practical training. Research areas include Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, and Enterprise Information Systems for corporate and smart government solutions.
